The 75th Appleton Flag Day Parade is Saturday, June 13, 2026 at 2:00pm.

The Appleton Flag Day Parade is an American tradition. The annual event is always held on the second Saturday in June. Fox Cities citizens have honored “Old Glory” with this annual parade since 1950, an event founded by Appleton Lodge #337, making the Appleton Flag Day Parade the nation’s oldest. This celebration annually attracts hundreds of participants and more than 50,000 spectators to Appleton. It is just one of the shining acheivments in the storied 125+ year history of our lodge.

NEW LOCATION for the day

Come celebrate for the day with Appleton Elks #337 lodge members as our invited guests. Join us starting at NOON prior to the parade at American Legion Post 38, located at 3220 West College Avenue, at the corner of College and Bluemound.

The parade route has changed this year. It begins at State Street just south of College Avenue, proceeds east on College Avenue and then turns north on Drew Street when it ends. Outdoor seating is available all along the route. We provide a shuttle from the American Legion to a designated area along College Avenue.

***Please bring your own chairs for parade seating. (We will try to have some limited seating available, but this is not guaranteed.)

This year, Appleton #337's parade entry will include 3 vehicles with our local lodge representatives, the State President and First Lady, and State President Elect. Feel free to cheer loudly as our entry passes by.

Following the Parade, you can head back to the American Legion to cool off and enjoy each others company. We will have a shuttle to get you back there if needed. Our State President's Visitation Dinner will begin at 5:30 PM and is provided by the Legion which supports them and their mission.

*** Due to the Indoor/Outdoor/Indoor nature of this day's events, the Dress Code is Elks Casual/Casual.

Dinner Price is only $25/person
Menu includes Broasted Chicken, Beef Tips and an assorted variety of "fixins".

Only $25 per person, includes tax and tip.

Elkdom is not about a building, it is about a spirit of charity, involvement in our communites, a willingness to step up and do what is needed, when needed, and to do it cheerfully.  We appreciate all of your past support of our Lodge and we encourage you to continue to support us in our forward growth. Without a building requiring maintenance, we have found opportunities to meet in a more public space and share the value of Elkdom and the ELKS organization in the community.

Your involvement and participation on this day with us at the Flag Day Parade will show others that the ELKS organization is valuable, vibrant, fun and growing!  Please join us.  If you have any questions, the BEST option is to email Robbie Johnson, Lodge Secretary, at Elks337@gmail.com

About

Elks Lodges bring so much more to their communities than just a building.

They are places where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.

Elks invest in their communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need, and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

Being a member of your local lodge is rewarding.
